- Stanhope Lodge - Worthing
Stanhope Lodge supports a wide range of people with both long-stay and short-break accommodation. There are a number of houses and flatlets across the site providing communal and individual living environments.
Currently there are 16 people living at the home and there are facilities for up to 10 people to stay for short breaks. The home has a large, skilled staff team led by an experienced manager and senior team to provide 24/7 support.
Stanhope provides individualised care and support with an emphasis on promoting independence and choice to help people to enjoy their lives and maintain existing, or develop new, skills, interests, opportunities, and friendships.
The home is situated near to various shops and amenities and there are transport links across Worthing. The staff team are keen to promote and develop community links and to enable people to be a part of the community they live in. Some people also attend day opportunity services in the local area where they can enjoy chosen activities and connect with their friends. The home welcomes visits and involvement from families and friends of those living and staying there.
