Concluding Remarks

Concluding Remarks
This market position statement is heavily influenced by a variety of factors that are inter-dependent and reliant on future projections which are estimates. We will continue to review the position of care and support at home and will develop an action plan to drive forward towards this vision with providers, partners, customers and their families.
WSCC will continue to work with the care and support at home market to develop capacity to meet current and future demand, and to provide opportunities for people to be able to continue living in their own home for as long as possible, utilising a range of services and solutions – including care and support at home services. We will work with providers around management of complex care needs, particularly for people with mental health needs, physical impairments and learning disabilities. We will also strive to find solutions to ensuring accessibility of services and solutions in rural parts of the county which are more challenging to source care within.
Lastly, we will review the success of the recently tendered 2024 Care and Support at Home Framework commissioning arrangements to inform future direction as demand increases in the future.
