Listening to people and working together
We work to ensure that equality, diversity and inclusion are embodied in the way we work and the services we provide. To support this intention, we established a service-wide diversity and inclusion group chaired by the Director of Adults and Health which meets regularly. In addition, there are separate sessions held by managers and frontline staff which are focused on improving practice.
We are committed to strengthening our partnership working with people who use our services, family and friend carers, staff and stakeholders and we aspire towards a culture of co-design and co-production being at the heart of all our work – a strong theme running through our Adult social care strategy 2022-25.
